Brett Ridel

Freelance Software Engineer specialising in 3D, VR, and interactive experiences.
I develop real-time applications and games — from client projects to my own indie studio.

About

I hold a PhD from Université de Bordeaux on Spatial Augmented Reality and geometry processing (manao team, Inria).

Since then I have worked as a software engineer at Ubisoft Bordeaux on a web-based social platform for AC Mirage, as an OpenGL contractor on desktop and GIS applications, and inside my own studio building VR games and 3D tools.

I am currently freelancing for Topia (since October 2024) and independently developing a new VR game.
